National Accounts Sales Manager – Con-Tech Lighting

Con-Tech Lighting is a 32+ year old manufacturer of interior lighting products based in Northbrook, IL.  We are looking to expand our vertical markets sales team with a highly aggressive and motivated individual who will focus on specialty markets within the western portion of the United States.

Location:

Home office located in a western state.

Job Description:

  • Establish and grow business with specialty market customers located in the western portion of the United States.
  • Develop actionable sales plan for various segments of assigned specialty markets. 
  • Generation of new sales leads.
  • Cold calling on new accounts.
  • Be intimately involved in all phases of a project – specification, distribution, installation and post sale.
  • 40% – 60% travel required.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Must have 5+ years of commercial lighting experience, preferably with national accounts.
  • Highly aggressive and motivated individual who is a self-starter.
  • Must be an experienced sale-closer that has a record of exceeding sales goals.
  • Ability to work effectively with other team members to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Superior presentation skills (both written and oral).
  • Expert in relationship building.
  • Proficient computer skills.
