San Francisco, January 31, 2016–Lumenetix announced today that Adam Carangi, LC, MIES, has been appointed as Architectural Design + Specifications Director, North America.
Adam brings more than 20 years in the lighting world to the company. Prior to joining Lumenetix, Adam worked in Specification Sales in the Northeast for a large, spec-grade lighting manufacturer. Previously, his strong design background in art and architecture helped him to found a lighting design practice and firm, where he worked as principal lighting designer for more than 13 years. Here he was an active member of the IALD & IESNA. Professionally, Adam has maintained his LC since 2008, and speaks regularly on various lighting topics, both at the professional and collegiate level. “Most excitingly”, said Jim Kingman, CEO of Lumenetix, “Adam’s excellent knowledge of fixtures, outstanding technical understanding of lighting principles, as well as his high-quality and practical design sense will allow him to fully convey the quality of the Lumenetix product family and educate the design community on all that araya® tunable color has to offer”.
